What causes a hygroma?
The trauma most often occurs as a result of lying on
hard surfaces, such as cement or hardwood floors.
It is more common in larger breed dogs in which more weight is
placed on the bony area having contact with the hard surface.

25. 1) Melonex - 3ml (@ 0.5 mg/kg BW)
2) Tab. Ceftriaxone 500 mg BID (@ 10 mg/kg BW)
3) Advised for regular antiseptic dressing with 5% Betadine solution and local
application of the Betadine ointment .
4) Avoid rubbing on hard surface
