Levels of communication

1. Intrapersonal
2. Interpersonal

3. Within one self, self-talk
Communication occurs in your on mind.
It is basis of your feelings, biases, prejudice,
beliefs.
E.g.: when u make any kind of decision-what to
eat or what to wear. When you are think about
something.
4. Between 2 people who build interact to build
an understanding.
Planned/unplanned
E.g. : Interaction between manger and an
employee, interaction between couple.
5. Between 2 or 3 members in a group to discuss
and finalize an outcome based on shared
objects.
Formal or informal.
E.g.: A teacher and a class of students, A
speaker and assembly of people in auditorium.
6. Sender broadcasting a message to a select
audience.
E.g.: A political leader addressing an election
rally.
7. Transmission of messages to a larger
audience through print or visual media.
E.g.: Blogs, television, radio and newspapper
No direct verbal or non verbal feedback
mechanism.
8. 1) One way communication
Messages are broadcasted from one end
only.
There is limited or no role for other person
to respond.
e.g.: News broadcast
9. Between two or more parties.
Constant flow of communication
Classified into 2
1.One to one
one sender and one receiver.
Message flow only between two parties.
2.One to many
one sender broadcasting messages
to multiple recipients.

Many sender broadcasting the message into
one recipient.
