 Not necessarily superior and subordinate
Chain networks
 Downward flow of communication along chain of
command
 Command or instruction are relayed to
subordinates

5. Wheel networks
 Highly centralized-all receive commands from
single superior
 Immediate feedback
Star network
 All members communicate with each other.
 Ideal for team communication
