Overview: In March 2016 SheSpeaks embarked on a
study to better understand how supportive women are
of one another across topics and categories.
The Goal: Better understand whether women are
supportive of one another
Respondents: With 2,300 respondents aged 18+,
SheSpeaks generated some interesting Learnings.
The following report outlines key findings from
SheSpeaks study

their fellow women
1.The Majority of Women do not feel supported
by other women
2.Qualitative Feedback reveals that Women
report jealousy, competition and negativity
across social media as barriers of support
3.Women feel that Politics is lacking the most
