Overseen by Dr. Frank Dennehy, Shenandoah Valley Family Practice Residency Program offers opportunities for students who are interested in family medicine. Operating in northwestern Virginia, it provides five residents per class with three years of experience in treating patients from urban and rural environments, including Appalachia. Members practice out of Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal and Winchester Medical Center in Winchester while gaining further education through its connections to the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.
