1. Exhibition of Shefqet Emini opens at The Hague
The Hague, 5 November 2011 โ The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in the Kingdom of the
Netherlands, in cooperation with the Kosovar artist resident in Holland, Shefqet Emini, has organized
an exhibition in the Atrium of The Hague municipal hall.

4. The main goal of this exhibition is to promote a more positive image of the Republic of Kosovo and to attract the
attention of the local public and internationals accredited in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. This cultural activity
targeted three key types of guests: the diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and
representatives of international organizations present in this state; institutional officials from the receiving state
and other public figures with influence in Dutch society and institutions; as well as ordinary local and
international members of the public, considering the eventโs strategic location to which many people gravitate.
The exhibition opening was on Friday evening, and it will remain open to the public until 12 November, 2011.
Participating in the official opening ceremony were the Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Hajdin Abazi
and the Political Advisor of the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Haqif Mulliqi. Also present were dozens of
Ambassadors accredited in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, including countries which have not recognized the
independence of our state; the President of the International Criminal Tribunal; senior representatives of the
Foreign Ministry of the Netherlands; deputies in the Netherlands Parliament and other guests.
During his visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport Mr. Abazi
held a courtesy meeting with his counterpart from the respective ministry in The Kingdom of the Netherlands,
Marjola Jansen. They discussed ways of deepening bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially
with regard to cultural heritage, and respectively between the Institute for the Protection of Monuments in
Kosovo and that of the
