An educator beginning my 23rd year, I have 11 years of classroom experience and 12 years as a school administrator. My experiences have ranged from small districts such as Guthrie CSD and Samnorwood ISD as well as large districts including Fort Worth ISD, Southwest ISD and Hays CISD. My administrative experiences include K-12 principal, HS principal, district superintendent and special education director of an SSA. Currently, I am fortunate to be the principal of Highland Park HS in Amarillo. My campus is filled with 20 hard-working teachers and 252 students. Most of those students are engaged and smiling to be learning. It is my job to motivate those who are not engaged and smiling.
