3. State Objective
• Students will collect what they have been
working on all week and organize it into an
anthology. It will include five poems (created by
the class, from Twitter, or from professional
sources), a critical analysis of each poem, and an
introduction stating why these poems are related.
The student will be assessed on their organization
of the project, in-depth description of how the
poems are related, and the content of each
poem’s analysis.

5. Utilize Media/Materials
• Pick poems from Twitter and other websites
for poetry.
• Print poems that you want to use (scan them
if it is a classmate’s poem.
• Complete an analysis of each poem (resources
can be found on Blogger)
• Create a critical introduction (also on Blogger)
• Compile anthology for critique/presentation
7. Evaluate and Revise
• Assessment
– The student will be assessed on their organization
of the project, in-depth description of how the
poems are related, and the content of each
poem’s analysis. This project will be showcased at
the school’s poetry night.
