Cinderella Script.
1st page: Once upon a time, there was a troubled young girl. Her father had remarried a wicked
woman, who had two revolting daughters. The wicked stepmother showered her two daughters in
gold and diamonds, but as for the poor young girl, she had nothing. The five of them lived on a
council estate and the young girl was made to clean the house all day, every day. They nicknamed
her Cinderella.
2nd page: Cinderella spent her free time talking to the animals and her favourite mice. Cinderella’s
mice always tell Cinderella how beautiful she is, even though her only clothes are rags and her
frightful stepsisters were dressed in elegant dresses, however they were still more clumsy and
potbellied than Cinderella would ever be.
3rd Page: One stormy morning, three pleasant dresses arrived at the house. The prince was holding a
ball, that evening, to try and find a suitable bride. Cinderella daren’t ask if she had got an invite,
because her wicked step-mother and step-sisters would force her to scrub the floors and once again,
make sure everything was ready, for when the wicked trio arrived home. After the wicked three had
gone to the ball, Cinderella sat and sobbed, “I’m so unhappy!” and the mice squeaked back “I think
you are beautiful
4th Page: Cinderella wept still, as she thought about her ugly stepsisters dancing with the prince, the
only man she dreamed about. As Cinderella looked behind her, a flashing blue light appeared, and in
the light, was a small fairy godmother. Cinderella whispered quietly “have I done anything wrong?”
the fairy godmother replied “no dear, I am sending you to the ball.”
5th page: The fairy godmother smiled gently, and told Cinderella to fetch a pumpkin and seven alive
mice. In a flash, Cinderella had returned with the pumpkin and seven mice, she placed them in front
of the godmother, and the fairy godmother had transformed the pumpkin and mice into a wonderful
horse and carriage. Cinderella gasped.
6th page: Cinderella then asked “what about my dress?” With a flick of her wand, the fairy
godmother chanted “bibbity bobbity boo” and Cinderella’s rags were transformed into one, blue,
sparkling, flowing dress. Cinderella felt so excited and surprised.
7th Page: However, there was one rule for Cinderella “you must return home by midnight” spoke the
fairy god mother “otherwise the magic will fade and you will return to your rags.” Cinderella
promised the fairy godmother that she would be home by midnight, and climbed into the carriage,
the fairy godmother watched as the horses rode away, pleased that she had made Cinderella’s
dream come true.
8th Page: As Cinderella walked into the ball, the whole room stopped to look at Cinderella, and this
beautiful dress that she was wearing. The prince took her hand and asked “may I have this dance
with you?” Cinderella and the prince danced all night long, and the prince replied no to anyone who
asked to dance. Even Cinderella’s ugly stepsisters and wicked step-mother had not realised it was
Cinderella who was dancing with the prince. However Cinderella didn’t realise the time and had to
rush away from the prince.
9th page: in Cinderella’s rush, she fled down the stairs and left her glass slipper behind. Cinderella
managed to get home in time, and went back to cleaning the fireplace. The very next day, the prince
and his father came to all the women in the village, asking if their foot fitted the glass slipper. The
prince was determined to find his bride. The Prince finally came to Cinderella’s house, the ugly
stepsisters immediately ran to try the shoe on, unluckily for them, their feet were too wide to fit in
Cinderella’s little shoe. Then the prince called out “is there anybody else living here?” Cinderella
tiptoed in the room, but her stepmother tried to shoo her away. “No” spoke the Prince. “Let her try
on the shoe”. The shoe slid onto Cinderella’s foot perfectly, and the Prince had found his new bride.
Cinderella and the Prince rode back together on his horse. Finally, she had found a way to escaper
her wicked stepmother and ugly sisters, by marrying her prince charming. The wedding was held at
the palace, with the fairy god mother invited, and the Prince and Cinderella lived happily ever after.
