4.  Period of Revelation: This is among the first few surahs
which were revealed after Hijra
 Muslims now had some freedom of religion but they were still
having difficulties because of the evil plots & plans of kuffar,
Jews & hypocrite.

8.  Hypocrites fear the ayat of actions. They only keep their own
benefit in mind.
 Cutting the ties with your relatives cause destruction on earth

 Making Allah(swt) angry and not accepting His
commandments – Wasting all actions

9.  Its against the wisdom of Allah (swt) to disclose the names
of hypocrites openly
 They could be recognized by the way they talk. Hudhaifah (ra)
Secret Keeper of Rasulullah.
 Trials-striving, tests of Iman-patience. How truthful are you in your
claims of faith?
 Actions which destroy good deeds– Not obeying Allah & Prophet
 Feeling overpowered by the enemy & having the fear of facing them
 Keep yourself away from stinginess --- Allah is All Sufficient
Ruku No 4:

10.  Falsehood and the people of falsehood are unsustainable ---
Become helpers of Allah SWT
 The righteous and the unbeliever are not equal --- Make dua
for guidance and piety.
 Conditions of the Hypocrites --- Efforts and Prayers to
Remove the impurities of the heart
 Loss of deeds --- Avoiding miserliness in spending money

12. Let's evaluate our selves
Am I sure? Yes No mostly
to some

There are good and always obedient words
on my tongue.
I try to avoid covenant of faith
Even after clear instructions come out, I want to
somehow get away with it
I want to adapt the commands of the Qur'an to
my likings.
I avoid fulfilling the commands of religion
with false expectations
