14. Our Opinion
Today, people may purchase street food for a number
of reasons including "ethnic taste, nostalgia, and the
opportunity to eat quickly obtained, reasonably priced
and flavorful food in a sociable setting. Street foods are
very cheap so students can buy them easily. Be careful
when buying food from street vendors as health and
hygiene standards are not always top notch. So, the
sale of nutritionally poor foods is a further problem as
lack of awareness on both the producer and the
consumer side prevents many vendors from selling
healthy and nutritious dishes.
