2. Lakshmi Narasamma
I take care on my sister’s children to go to
school daily and do the housework. After
2 years their children were joined in
hostels. Since then they have been
quarreling with me over the little things.
My elder sister also quarreled with me. I
did not want them to quarrel with me and
I came back to my village temple
3. M Jayamma
Jayamma has 6 sons. She lost her three
sons. She brought up other three sons on
her own. One of the sons has tractor.
Other two sons are into agriculture. Three
of her sons are already married. Later
they abandoned her and left her alone.
For her livelihood, as she was alone, her
neighbours brought her to our centre. She
needs love, care and proper support to
lead the rest of life happily
4. M Nagalakshmamma
My son did not take care of me. My son-
in-law also died. My daughter has a son
and a daughter. So I went to live with my
daughter. With my daughter’s meager
earning, it was not possible to take care
of expenses of her children and me, so it
became harder for me to live with my
daughter
5. M Venkata Subbamma
My husband died of a heart attack. I had
adopted my sister’s son and educated
him. He got married. After marriage, he
was not taking care of me. So, I was
brought to SERUDS Old Age Home by my
relatives. As I am old, I have knee pain. I
spend time telling stories
