2. MEN In the 1940’s, because of the II World War, the typical clothes of men were the military uniform. In the 1930`s, the clothes were larger than in the 1940`s. The suits were composed by two pieces: trousers and jacket.
3. WOMEN In the 1940`s there were two different styles: During the II World War and after.During the War women dressed in a conservative way. They dressed with dark and simple colours. Also, their dresses and skirts were very long and modest.After the War, the style changed: The clothes were more feminine and elegant.
4. MEN Currently, men clothes are very casual and urban: Jeans, pullovers, trainers…..
5. WOMEN Women dress very similar to men because they often wear jeans and jersey. Also, women like to wear short dress when they wear in a elegant way.
6. PERSONAL OPINION The style of the late 40’s was more elegant than the style currently.The clothes of the early 40’s was the most conservative of the 1940`s.The dresses nowadays are cheaper than the dresses of the 40’s.
