A. Reproductive Anatomy Tool
Obstetrics is part of medicine devoted to learning all that concerned with the birth of
his child. Within this field must understand the knowledge of the anatomical,
physiological, pathological, and reproductive pathology. In addition, changes in the
content of the tool that occur during pregnancy should also in comprehending.
Female reproductive organs consist of organs and organs external genetalia internal
genetalia. external genetalia and vaginal organ part for intercourse, while internal
organs are part genetalia to ovulation, the egg fertilization, blatokis transportation,
implantation, and development of the fetus.
1. External genetalia (vulva)
Consisting of:
a. Tundun (Mons veneris) covering the symphysis protruding portion
consisting of tissue and fat, this area began unfeathered (pubic hair) at puberty. Parts
are coated in fat, is located above the symphysis pubic
b. Mayora Labia is a continuation of the mons veneris, oval shaped. Both lips
met and formed at the bottom of the perineum. Outer labia majora tertutp hair, which
is a continuation of the hair on the mons veneris. The inside of the labia majora
without hair, a membrane containing sebaceous glands (fat). The size of the labia
majora in adult women à long 7-8 cm, width 2-3 cm, thickness from 1 to 1.5 cm. In
children and nullipara à both labia majora is very close.
c. Labia Minora (small lips) which is the inner folds big lips (labia majora),
without hair. Each labia minora composed of a thin tissue moist and reddish; Section
on labia minora will unite to form the prepuce and frenulum clitoridis, while parts. In
this small lip around the vaginal orifice underneath will unite to form fourchette
d. The clitoris is an important part of external reproductive erectile. Clitoridis
glans contains many blood vessels and sensory nerve fibers that are very sensitive.
Analogous to the penis in men. Consisting of the glans, corpus and 2 crura, with an
average length does not exceed 2 cm.
e. Vestibule (foyer) is a cavity located between the small lips (labia minora). In
the vestibule there are 6 holes, the external urethra orifice, vaginal introitus, 2 pieces
estuary Bartholini gland, and 2 pieces estuary paraurethral glands. Bartholini gland
function is to secrete mucoid fluid during sexual stimulation. Bartholini gland also
prevent the entry of bacteria Neisseria gonorhoeae and pathogenic bacteria.
f. Hymen (hymen) consists of collagen and elastic connective tissue. This thin
layer that covers most of the hole intercourse, so that the dirt in the middle perforated
periods can flow out. The shape of the hymen of each woman is different, there are
shaped like a crescent moon, there is a stiff consistency and there is soft, there is a
tip of the finger holes, one can pass a finger. When did the very first coitus tear can
occur, usually in the posterior
g. Perineum (crotch) Located between the vulva and anus, approximately 4
cm in length. Constrained by muscles muscular muscular levator ani and coccygeus.
The muscles work to keep the work of the sphincter ani
2. genetalia Interna
a. The vagina is a musculo-membraneus channel that connects the uterus to
the vulva. Her muscular tissue is a continuation of the muscular anal sphincter and
levator ani muscular, therefore, can be controlled.
The vagina is located between the bladder and rectum. The length of the front about
9 cm and about 11 cm behind the wall.
The main function of the vagina:
1) channel to uterine mucus and menstrual blood.
2) Tool sex.
3) The road was born at the time of delivery.
b. The uterus is a powerful muscle tissue, located in the minor pelvis between
the bladder and rectum. The back wall and the front and top of the closed
peritoneum, while the lower part of the uterus associated with bladder
kemih.Vaskularisasi derived from the uterine arteries that branch from the main artery
illiaka interna (internal arterihipogastrika). Walls of the uterus consists of three layers:
a) peritoneum
Covering the outer wall of the uterus. Covering the outside of the uterus. Is a
thickening of connective tissue filled with blood and lymph vessels and nerves. The
peritoneum covers the abdominal wall tubes and reach.
b) the muscle layer
The composition of the uterine muscle consists of three layers, namely the outer
layer, middle layer and inner layer. In the middle layer of woven fibers form a thick
layer of the uterine muscle. The middle layer penetrated by arteries and veins. Arch
muscle fibers form a figure eight so that during contraction of blood vessels
squeezed tightly, thus bleeding can be stopped. Increasingly in the direction of the
cervix, uterus muscles dwindle, and increased tissue binding. Parts of the uterus
located between anatomical Internum osteum uteri, which is the limit of the uterine
cavity and cervical canal with the uterine osteum histologikum (where there is a
change to the mucous membrane lining of the uterine cavity cervical mucus) called
isthmus. Isthmus uteri will be lower segment of the uterus and stretch during
childbirth.
c) Endometrium
There is a small hole in the endometrium which is the estuary of the endometrial
glands. Variations thick, thin, and phase endometrium mucus determined by
hormonal changes in the menstrual cycle. At the time of conception has been
changed into decidual endometrium, allowing implantation occurs (nidasi). Cervical
epithelial layer cylindrical shape, and is mengeluarakan liquid continuously, so as to
moisten the vagina. Position of the uterus in the pelvic muscle tone is determined by
the uterus itself, supporting ligament tone, tone the muscles supporting the uterus
pelvis.Ligamentum are:
1) broad ligament
• broad ligament as if it depends on the fallopian tubes.
2) The ligamentum rotundum (teres uteri)
• Composed of smooth muscle and connective tissue.
• Functions antefleksi hold the uterus in position.
3) ligament infundibulopelvikum
• Hanging wall of the uterus to the pelvic wall.
4) ligament kardinale Machenrod
• Blocking uteruske movement side to side.
• The inclusion of the bloodstream and into the uterus.
5) ligament sacro-uterinum
• It is a thickening of the ligament kardinale Machenrod towards os.sacrum.
6) The ligamentum vesico-uterinum
• It is a little loose connective tissue so that it can follow the development of
the uterus during pregnancy and childbirth.
c. Fallopian tubes are tubulo-muscular, with a length of 12 cm and a diameter
of 3 to 8 mm. tubae very important function, yaiu to capture that in the release ovum
during ovulation, the ovum and the sperm duct of the products of conception, the
place of conception, and the growth and development of the products of conception
until it reaches the blastula forms ready for implantation.
d. The ovary is a walnut-shaped gland located at the left and right of the
uterus and uterine tubes tied at the back of the broad ligament of the uterus. Each
month a developing follicle and an ovum is released at about the middle (day 14) of
the menstrual cycle. Ovulation is the maturation of the follicle de Graaf and pulled
ova. When born, she had a backup as many as 100,000 pieces ovum in the ovaries,
when finished menopause.
The ovaries are called ovarian, has three functions:
a. producing ova
b. Producing hormone estrogen
c. produce progesterone
Entering puberty at around the age of 13-16 years start primordial ovarian follicle
growth that secrete the hormone estrogen. Estrogen is an important hormone in
women. Spending is growing hormone secondary sex signs such as breast
enlargement in women, the growth of pubic hair, underarm hair growth, and
eventually spending the first menstrual blood is called menarche.
Early-onset menstruation is often irregular because Graaf follicle releases an ovum
has not called ovulation. This happens because it provides a chance on estrogen to
grow a secondary sexual signs. At the age of 17-18 years with regular menstrual
period is 28-30 days intervals lasting approximately 2-3 days accompanied by
ovulation, as the maturity of the female reproductive organs.
