What surprised us about this tool It was surprising that there is no privacy options, everything is up for view to the public, original presentations can't be downloaded, every power point has its own url, its like a components that make it like a twitter or facebook because you have a profile where you can follow people and, post a recent activity, post whatever on your wall, and put your picture up, and have others give you feedback. What was also surprising was that slideshare cannot let people work together on power points or other files over the internet at the same time so people can work together without meeting physically because Google docs does, this could be something that slide share could work on for future users.
