Product and Story | NEXT Generation of the Valve NOW Intelligent
The need for intelligent and connected products grows rapidly. A smart valve with new
functionalities promises the improvement of the customer competitiveness, the
increase of cost efficiency, higher quality of receipts, faster manufacturing, stronger
maintenance/support, etc. Customers are very enthusiastic about it, so a
request/order for design is submitted. There is big demand for the intelligent valves
(e.g. 10.000 valves)
SAP Systems
The NEXT generation of the valve is designed. The intelligent valve is born.
A make or buy decision for new valves will be made, the suppliers of the valves
will be identified and the purchasing/manufacturing process will be triggered on
The valve parts will be manufactured incl. 3D printing and assembled being
supported by the intralogistics processes
A proper transport of the valves to the end operator will be monitored, e.g.
monitoring of the transportation conditions
The valve will be installed and monitored by the operator or a third party
