Shape Task
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
I like the fact you can use a wide variety of tools when coming to produce this style of imagery. I have
used new skills such as detailed warping which is something I tend not to use in my other work but
could be found useful in future projects. The animal I chose I think works well due to the sections which
are in separate colours are very defined which makes it easier to put the image into separate layers.
Due to the bird having feathers which don’t flare about, unlike if they had fur, it makes it a lot easier to
section the image off.
I like the fact I have used a gradient, which starts with white and works through to a brown colour, I
have done this to make up the pupil and the eye of the puffin.
The main thing I enjoyed about this was been able to experiment with the wrapping tool, been able to
use many shapes and then combining the layers together to fill a curtain objects.
What would you improve if you did it again?
I would attempt to do an animal with a bit more difficulty, maybe have more shading in the image as
well as using pattern overlays to try new things.
Think about using a stroke around my work before the layers have been out down, it would have made
it easier if I had though about this factor at the start so I could have acted upon this during production.
2nd attempt
Evaluation
What did you like about my image?
In my second attempt with making a cartoon animal, I inherited some new skills in my work to
make the overall out come look more realistic but still cartoon. The way you have to do this is
by going to Select>Colour Range and then select the part of the image where you’d like the
shading from and this will notice everything in this image of the same colour and select this
for you. You are then able to put this on a separate layer and change the opacity to make the
shading noticeable but not as prominent as the coloured image itself.
I also employed another new skill of using many little shades to get a selection of an object with
an peculiar outer line meaning you could then use this skill to do more detailed animals.
The last of the new skill I used in this 2nd attempt is the use of the gradient tool which also you to
blend a section from one colour to another selected colour
What would you improve if you did it again?
I would prefer if I could have found another way to sort out all the little imperfections such as
little gaps left between where the limbs connected to make the image seem cleaner.
Rotoscope
Evaluation
What did you like about my image?
In this piece of work I employed skills from doing the shape task such as using the colour
range tool (found under select) to get the darker parts of the image on Tyler the Creators
face. The reason I have done this is to make the cartoon image seem more realistic.
Having the view of him from the side made the image considerably easier to get the leading
lines of the nose which can be a lot harder when looking at someone straight on.
I like the fact I didn’t fill the image with colour. The reason I have done this is so that you
can’t put an coloured background behind this and it will still show the full image of Tyler on
top.
What would you improve if you did it again?
If I were to do this piece again I would try doing the whole image of the person in colour
instead of using the outlines of the subject to make the basis of the image.
Another thing I would do is try using the gradient tool to make shading on the subject.
The last thing I would try and employ if I did this again is using the colour selection tool to
bring out detail in the person such as hair and beards
Rotoscope
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
I took into account what I wanted to improve if I did this again tried doing a different style of
‘Rotoscoping’ whilst still using people as the subject. I used Paul Walker in the second image and
also chose this image due to it been a completely different angle of the camera on his face.
The face I have used the colour range tool to bring out more detail in his face with the hair and
his beard. I have done this so there is no big block of colour and the image looks more pleasing to
the eye.
Unlike in my first image where I used a gradient over the background to build effect. I used the
gradient in this image to show shading Paul’s face, shirt and suit. This was something I had to to
myself due to in the original image there was a flash gun used so there was no shading to be
noticed on his face.
What would you improve if you did it again?
I could do with putting a bit more detail into the eye area seen as though I have forgotten to
make put in any eye lashes or even shading around the eyes
Last thing I would like to improve would be putting more detail into things such as the tie seen as
though in the actual image, the tie was chequered
Text Based
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
This that we have just done with the text based images is something you can use when trying to
make a piece of work pleasing to the eye. Things like this can be used to be creative with text and
fonts without taking the main aim of the text away from it. I like the fact that you can change the
letter spacing, line height to cramp more into a curtain space. Clipping mask could be one of my
most favoured due to the fact you can put things in the text which make it relate to it relate to it
more.
What would you improve if you did it again?
I would do things such as use more detailed images in the clipping mask to see if this works well
when it’s a large amount of text or better when it’s just one large word.
I could also try things such as putting textures over the text to give it a different look rather than
just putting an image in a clipping mask
Comic Book
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
I like the way you can use the cut out filter to give off the cartoon effect as well as using the
variable to make the it specific to how I wanted it to look. Not only this I have learnt that if you
duplicate the layer and then use this second layer as a threshold, this is a good way of keeping
detail in a cartoon.
Not only this but you can use things such as saturation to strip most of the image of colour but
only leaving curtain bit such as the red on her t-shirt in the dancing image. Only three sections of
her t-shirt remained the actual colour it started as
What would you improve if you did it again?
If I was to do this image again I would try doing this but with keeping a bit more of the colour. I
feel I stripped a bit to much from the image but I fell it still looks good so I can’t be to fussy with
the final result of what I did.
Comic Book
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
I like the fact that this effect makes the whole image seem as if the subject is in a comic book
style. Obviously the image started as a crisp clear image of Seth Rogan but using the adjustments
in the filter section I was able to get the final image which I wanted
What would you improve if you did it again?
If I was to do this again I would used the adjustments to make the whole image seem that little
bit less pixelated. I could of also tried out things such as background replacements and then using
the filter to make it look like the subject in the image is meant to be with that background. This
just shows you that I can do more complex versions of imagery with the same filter.
Photography
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
I tried to make it so the bus stop sign was directly through gap in the trees but you can use scenes
like this in stories where they have to make it through the adventure to a location. Even though
the image was just of two normal trees. I have used the comic effect to make it seem like the
image was taken in a wood and you can see out to a place of interest.
There is a very limited colour range which makes this also quite good for younger children due to
the been more conscious about contrast between colour rather than the story line.
What would you improve if you did it again?
If I was to do this task again I would make sure to use an image with at least one person in it to
show emotion a bit better.
I could possibly try another style of editing and use a different filter to make the image seem
cartoon.
Illustration
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
Sketching out images is one of my strong points, I would use things such as this to help me decide
what styles I want to employ in my work. I like the fact I have included shading in this image in all
the areas necessary as well as I couldn’t say that for free hand the image does look quite similar
to what the image I was looking at was. This image would be sort of the style would want to go
for when rotoscoping in my actual final production
What would you improve if you did it again?
If I was going to do this again, I would say that I would prefer to do an image with a bit more
complexity. Maybe something with more shading to the image or even with more detailed parts
to the subject I’m trying to draw. Such as clothing or props they might be holding

Dimensions
In my narrative there will be between 9-12pages. The dimensions for the pages will be
21cm*21cm (number of pages and page size)
The reason I have chosen these dimensions is due to this been the average size of
children nowadays.
Export Format
PDF file
Advantages:
It’s a very fast, simple and easy to use programme.
The capability to compress large files without difficulty. Meaning it’s good for changing
files from one format to another without loosing quality of the file
Disadvantages:
They can be difficult to read on computer screens
Unless the audience have a plug in already installed. You won’t be able to view this file
format when you don’t have the download which also means it will sometimes ask you
to download extra files on a website
Story Overview
(Provide an outline of your story)
My narrative will be based on the children’s story “The three little pigs” I’m going to
twist the story a bit so it still relates to kids just as much as the original instead of a
wolf, it will be a fox who is the predator. Instead of pigs, there will be rabbits all with
their own personal name.
The first rabbit decides to make his home in a pre dug hole in the ground. Later to find
this was the wrong idea and if only he wasn’t so lazy. He might have survived.
The second rabbit started getting crafty and would dig his hole under shrubs to
camouflage the entrance. Once again, the fox with it’s incredibly sensitive nose, routed
out, found and ate the second rabbit.
The last rabbit had endured watching his two companions get scoffed down by the
nasty fox. Shortly after he went and dug his own hole, only big enough for him and
anything smaller. Over the entrance he then pull a rock over the hole as a door and
waited in silence. Paranoid that the fox was going to find him.
You could hear the fox crack the branches as it treads carelessly round and round. The
night came to an end. The rabbit scurried out from the ground, only to start another
day

Audience
To start, my stereotypical audience for a book like this would be between the ages of 2-6years
old and this is due to the difficulty of the text as well as there might be less writing in this so it
would be appropriate for someone of this age. In this I wouldn't think there’s a stereotypical
gender for this style of children's novels due to the wolf and the pigs not having a gender
named. This means it leaves it up to the audience on to decide weather they think the
characters are male or female. This type of book would fall into any class due to it been a
children's book. Children of any class under the ages of 6 would find this type of book
interesting. If I had to say a curtain class though I would say it would be for middle class people
due to this been the people that when in this position, would be starting a family and things
such as this.
If someone likes “The Three Little Pigs” then this could be appropriate for the same audience
Production Methods
I have two options that I’m been very indecisive about. The first was making most of the
illustrations into a water colour look. The reason for this is due to it been a children’s book.
Paints are something which would interest them more due to the contrasts been between the
colours.

your decisions for a more detail response)

The Three Little Pigs
By Paul Galdone
Narrator: Once upon a time there was an old sow with three little pigs. She had no money to keep
them, so she sent them off to seek their fortune. The first little pig met a man with a bundle of
straw, and said to him:
Pig 1: Please, man, give me that straw to build me a house. (Innocently)
Narrator: So the man did, and the little pig built his house with it.
Along came a wolf. He knocked at the door, and said:
Wolf: Little pig, little pig, let me come in. (persuasively)
Pig 1: No, no, (with fright) Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin! (loud and proud)
Wolf: Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in (Loud and Blow)
Narrator: so the wolf huffed, and he puffed and he blew the house in. And he ate up the first little
pig. (sadly)

The second little pig met a man with a bundle of sticks, and said:
Pig 2: Please, man, give me those sticks to build me a house.
Narrator: So the man did, and the little pig built his house with them.
Then, along came the wolf, and said:
Wolf: Little pig, little pig, let me come in. (persuasively)
Pig 2: No, no, (with fright) Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin! (loud and proud)
Wolf: Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in (Loud and Blow)
Narrator: So he huffed, and he puffed, and he huffed, and he puffed, and at last he blew the house
in. And he ate up the second little pig. (sadly)
The third little pig met a man with a load of bricks and said:
Pig 3: Please, man, give me those bricks to build me a house. (Innocently)
Narrator: So the man did, and the little pig built his house with them.
Soon the same wolf came along, and said:
Wolf: Little pig, little pig let me come in. (persuasively)
Pig 3: No, no! Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin. (Loud and Proud)
Wolf: Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in. (Loud and Blow)
Narrator: Well, he huffed, and he puffed and he huffed and he puffed and he huffed and he
puffed. But…. He could NOT blow the house in!
At last the wolf stopped huffing and puffing, and said:
Wolf: (out of breath) little pig, I know where there is a nice field of turnips.
Pig 3: Where? (curiously)
Wolf: On Mr. Smith’s farm. I will come for you tomorrow morning. We will go together and
get some turnips for dinner.
Pig 3: Very well. What time will you come?
Wolf: Oh, at six o’clock
Narrator: Well the little e pig got up at five and got the turnips before wolf came to his house.
Wolf: Little pig, are you ready?
Pig 3: READY!
I have come back again and I got a nice potful of turnips for my dinner.
Narrator: The wolf was very anger. But then he thought of another way to get the little pig, so
he said:
Wolf: Little pig, I know where there is a nice apple tree.
Pig 3: Where?
Wolf: Down at Merry Garden. I will come for you at five o’clock tomorrow morning and we
will get some apples.
Narrator: Well, the little pig got up the next morning at four o’clock, and went off for the
apples. He wanted to get back home before the wolf came. But it was a long way to Merry
Garden, and then he had to climb the tree. Just as he was climbing back down with his basket
full of apples, he saw the wolf coming!
Wolf: Little pig! You got here before me! Are the apples nice?
Pig3: Yes, very! I will throw you one down to you.
Narrator: And he threw the apple as far as he could throw. While the wolf ran to pick it up,
the little pig jumped down and ran home.
The next day the wolf came again and said to the little pig:
Wolf: Little pig, there is a fair at Shanklin this afternoon. Would you like to go?
Pig3: Oh, yes. When will you come to get me?
Wolf: At three
Narrator: Well, the little pig went off at two o’clock and bought a butter churn at the fair.
He was going home with it when he saw the wolf coming! The little pig jumped into
the butter churn to hide. The churn fell over and rolled down the hill with the little pig in it!
This frightened the wolf so much that he turned around and ran home.
Later the wolf went to the little pig’s house and told him what had happened.
Wolf: A great round thing came rolling down the hill right at me!
Pig 3: Hah, I frightened you then! I went to the fair and bought a butter churn. When I saw
you, I got into it, and rolled down the hill!!!
Narrator: The wolf was very angry indeed!
Wolf: I’m going to climb down your chimney and eat you up!!!
Narrator: When the little pig heard the wolf on the roof he hung up a pot full of water in the
fireplace. Then he built a blazing fire! Just as the wolf was coming down the chimney, the
little pig took the cover off the pot, and in fell the wolf.
The little pig quickly put on the cover again, boiled up the wolf, and ate him for supper.
And the little pig lived happily ever afterward.
The narrators parts could be split in half

  • 3. Evaluation What did you like about your image? I like the fact you can use a wide variety of tools when coming to produce this style of imagery. I have used new skills such as detailed warping which is something I tend not to use in my other work but could be found useful in future projects. The animal I chose I think works well due to the sections which are in separate colours are very defined which makes it easier to put the image into separate layers. Due to the bird having feathers which don’t flare about, unlike if they had fur, it makes it a lot easier to section the image off. I like the fact I have used a gradient, which starts with white and works through to a brown colour, I have done this to make up the pupil and the eye of the puffin. The main thing I enjoyed about this was been able to experiment with the wrapping tool, been able to use many shapes and then combining the layers together to fill a curtain objects. What would you improve if you did it again? I would attempt to do an animal with a bit more difficulty, maybe have more shading in the image as well as using pattern overlays to try new things. Think about using a stroke around my work before the layers have been out down, it would have made it easier if I had though about this factor at the start so I could have acted upon this during production.
  • 5. Evaluation What did you like about my image? In my second attempt with making a cartoon animal, I inherited some new skills in my work to make the overall out come look more realistic but still cartoon. The way you have to do this is by going to Select>Colour Range and then select the part of the image where you’d like the shading from and this will notice everything in this image of the same colour and select this for you. You are then able to put this on a separate layer and change the opacity to make the shading noticeable but not as prominent as the coloured image itself. I also employed another new skill of using many little shades to get a selection of an object with an peculiar outer line meaning you could then use this skill to do more detailed animals. The last of the new skill I used in this 2nd attempt is the use of the gradient tool which also you to blend a section from one colour to another selected colour What would you improve if you did it again? I would prefer if I could have found another way to sort out all the little imperfections such as little gaps left between where the limbs connected to make the image seem cleaner.
  • 7. Evaluation What did you like about my image? In this piece of work I employed skills from doing the shape task such as using the colour range tool (found under select) to get the darker parts of the image on Tyler the Creators face. The reason I have done this is to make the cartoon image seem more realistic. Having the view of him from the side made the image considerably easier to get the leading lines of the nose which can be a lot harder when looking at someone straight on. I like the fact I didn’t fill the image with colour. The reason I have done this is so that you can’t put an coloured background behind this and it will still show the full image of Tyler on top. What would you improve if you did it again? If I were to do this piece again I would try doing the whole image of the person in colour instead of using the outlines of the subject to make the basis of the image. Another thing I would do is try using the gradient tool to make shading on the subject. The last thing I would try and employ if I did this again is using the colour selection tool to bring out detail in the person such as hair and beards
  • 9. Evaluation What did you like about your image? I took into account what I wanted to improve if I did this again tried doing a different style of ‘Rotoscoping’ whilst still using people as the subject. I used Paul Walker in the second image and also chose this image due to it been a completely different angle of the camera on his face. The face I have used the colour range tool to bring out more detail in his face with the hair and his beard. I have done this so there is no big block of colour and the image looks more pleasing to the eye. Unlike in my first image where I used a gradient over the background to build effect. I used the gradient in this image to show shading Paul’s face, shirt and suit. This was something I had to to myself due to in the original image there was a flash gun used so there was no shading to be noticed on his face. What would you improve if you did it again? I could do with putting a bit more detail into the eye area seen as though I have forgotten to make put in any eye lashes or even shading around the eyes Last thing I would like to improve would be putting more detail into things such as the tie seen as though in the actual image, the tie was chequered
  • 11. Evaluation What did you like about your image? This that we have just done with the text based images is something you can use when trying to make a piece of work pleasing to the eye. Things like this can be used to be creative with text and fonts without taking the main aim of the text away from it. I like the fact that you can change the letter spacing, line height to cramp more into a curtain space. Clipping mask could be one of my most favoured due to the fact you can put things in the text which make it relate to it relate to it more. What would you improve if you did it again? I would do things such as use more detailed images in the clipping mask to see if this works well when it’s a large amount of text or better when it’s just one large word. I could also try things such as putting textures over the text to give it a different look rather than just putting an image in a clipping mask
  • 13. Evaluation What did you like about your image? I like the way you can use the cut out filter to give off the cartoon effect as well as using the variable to make the it specific to how I wanted it to look. Not only this I have learnt that if you duplicate the layer and then use this second layer as a threshold, this is a good way of keeping detail in a cartoon. Not only this but you can use things such as saturation to strip most of the image of colour but only leaving curtain bit such as the red on her t-shirt in the dancing image. Only three sections of her t-shirt remained the actual colour it started as What would you improve if you did it again? If I was to do this image again I would try doing this but with keeping a bit more of the colour. I feel I stripped a bit to much from the image but I fell it still looks good so I can’t be to fussy with the final result of what I did.
  • 15. Evaluation What did you like about your image? I like the fact that this effect makes the whole image seem as if the subject is in a comic book style. Obviously the image started as a crisp clear image of Seth Rogan but using the adjustments in the filter section I was able to get the final image which I wanted What would you improve if you did it again? If I was to do this again I would used the adjustments to make the whole image seem that little bit less pixelated. I could of also tried out things such as background replacements and then using the filter to make it look like the subject in the image is meant to be with that background. This just shows you that I can do more complex versions of imagery with the same filter.
  • 17. Evaluation What did you like about your image? I tried to make it so the bus stop sign was directly through gap in the trees but you can use scenes like this in stories where they have to make it through the adventure to a location. Even though the image was just of two normal trees. I have used the comic effect to make it seem like the image was taken in a wood and you can see out to a place of interest. There is a very limited colour range which makes this also quite good for younger children due to the been more conscious about contrast between colour rather than the story line. What would you improve if you did it again? If I was to do this task again I would make sure to use an image with at least one person in it to show emotion a bit better. I could possibly try another style of editing and use a different filter to make the image seem cartoon.
  • 19. Evaluation What did you like about your image? Sketching out images is one of my strong points, I would use things such as this to help me decide what styles I want to employ in my work. I like the fact I have included shading in this image in all the areas necessary as well as I couldn’t say that for free hand the image does look quite similar to what the image I was looking at was. This image would be sort of the style would want to go for when rotoscoping in my actual final production What would you improve if you did it again? If I was going to do this again, I would say that I would prefer to do an image with a bit more complexity. Maybe something with more shading to the image or even with more detailed parts to the subject I’m trying to draw. Such as clothing or props they might be holding

  • 24. Proposal Dimensions In my narrative there will be between 9-12pages. The dimensions for the pages will be 21cm*21cm (number of pages and page size) The reason I have chosen these dimensions is due to this been the average size of children nowadays. Export Format PDF file Advantages: It’s a very fast, simple and easy to use programme. The capability to compress large files without difficulty. Meaning it’s good for changing files from one format to another without loosing quality of the file Disadvantages: They can be difficult to read on computer screens Unless the audience have a plug in already installed. You won’t be able to view this file format when you don’t have the download which also means it will sometimes ask you to download extra files on a website
  • 25. Story Overview (Provide an outline of your story) My narrative will be based on the children’s story “The three little pigs” I’m going to twist the story a bit so it still relates to kids just as much as the original instead of a wolf, it will be a fox who is the predator. Instead of pigs, there will be rabbits all with their own personal name. The first rabbit decides to make his home in a pre dug hole in the ground. Later to find this was the wrong idea and if only he wasn’t so lazy. He might have survived. The second rabbit started getting crafty and would dig his hole under shrubs to camouflage the entrance. Once again, the fox with it’s incredibly sensitive nose, routed out, found and ate the second rabbit. The last rabbit had endured watching his two companions get scoffed down by the nasty fox. Shortly after he went and dug his own hole, only big enough for him and anything smaller. Over the entrance he then pull a rock over the hole as a door and waited in silence. Paranoid that the fox was going to find him. You could hear the fox crack the branches as it treads carelessly round and round. The night came to an end. The rabbit scurried out from the ground, only to start another day
  • 26. Deadline 20/03/15 March 2015 Audience To start, my stereotypical audience for a book like this would be between the ages of 2-6years old and this is due to the difficulty of the text as well as there might be less writing in this so it would be appropriate for someone of this age. In this I wouldn't think there’s a stereotypical gender for this style of children's novels due to the wolf and the pigs not having a gender named. This means it leaves it up to the audience on to decide weather they think the characters are male or female. This type of book would fall into any class due to it been a children's book. Children of any class under the ages of 6 would find this type of book interesting. If I had to say a curtain class though I would say it would be for middle class people due to this been the people that when in this position, would be starting a family and things such as this. If someone likes “The Three Little Pigs” then this could be appropriate for the same audience Production Methods I have two options that I’m been very indecisive about. The first was making most of the illustrations into a water colour look. The reason for this is due to it been a children’s book. Paints are something which would interest them more due to the contrasts been between the colours. (Explain the methods you are going to use to produce your pages. Show us the thinking behind your decisions for a more detail response)

  • 33. Original Script The Three Little Pigs By Paul Galdone Narrator: Once upon a time there was an old sow with three little pigs. She had no money to keep them, so she sent them off to seek their fortune. The first little pig met a man with a bundle of straw, and said to him: Pig 1: Please, man, give me that straw to build me a house. (Innocently) Narrator: So the man did, and the little pig built his house with it. Along came a wolf. He knocked at the door, and said: Wolf: Little pig, little pig, let me come in. (persuasively) Pig 1: No, no, (with fright) Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin! (loud and proud) Wolf: Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in (Loud and Blow) Narrator: so the wolf huffed, and he puffed and he blew the house in. And he ate up the first little pig. (sadly) .
  • 34. Original Script The second little pig met a man with a bundle of sticks, and said: Pig 2: Please, man, give me those sticks to build me a house. Narrator: So the man did, and the little pig built his house with them. Then, along came the wolf, and said: Wolf: Little pig, little pig, let me come in. (persuasively) Pig 2: No, no, (with fright) Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin! (loud and proud) Wolf: Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in (Loud and Blow) Narrator: So he huffed, and he puffed, and he huffed, and he puffed, and at last he blew the house in. And he ate up the second little pig. (sadly) The third little pig met a man with a load of bricks and said: Pig 3: Please, man, give me those bricks to build me a house. (Innocently) Narrator: So the man did, and the little pig built his house with them. Soon the same wolf came along, and said: Wolf: Little pig, little pig let me come in. (persuasively)
  • 35. Pig 3: No, no! Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin. (Loud and Proud) Wolf: Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in. (Loud and Blow) Narrator: Well, he huffed, and he puffed and he huffed and he puffed and he huffed and he puffed. But…. He could NOT blow the house in! At last the wolf stopped huffing and puffing, and said: Wolf: (out of breath) little pig, I know where there is a nice field of turnips. Pig 3: Where? (curiously) Wolf: On Mr. Smith’s farm. I will come for you tomorrow morning. We will go together and get some turnips for dinner. Pig 3: Very well. What time will you come? Wolf: Oh, at six o’clock Narrator: Well the little e pig got up at five and got the turnips before wolf came to his house. Wolf: Little pig, are you ready? Pig 3: READY! I have come back again and I got a nice potful of turnips for my dinner. Narrator: The wolf was very anger. But then he thought of another way to get the little pig, so he said:
  • 36. Wolf: Little pig, I know where there is a nice apple tree. Pig 3: Where? Wolf: Down at Merry Garden. I will come for you at five o’clock tomorrow morning and we will get some apples. Narrator: Well, the little pig got up the next morning at four o’clock, and went off for the apples. He wanted to get back home before the wolf came. But it was a long way to Merry Garden, and then he had to climb the tree. Just as he was climbing back down with his basket full of apples, he saw the wolf coming! Wolf: Little pig! You got here before me! Are the apples nice? Pig3: Yes, very! I will throw you one down to you. Narrator: And he threw the apple as far as he could throw. While the wolf ran to pick it up, the little pig jumped down and ran home. The next day the wolf came again and said to the little pig: Wolf: Little pig, there is a fair at Shanklin this afternoon. Would you like to go? Pig3: Oh, yes. When will you come to get me? Wolf: At three
  • 37. Narrator: Well, the little pig went off at two o’clock and bought a butter churn at the fair. He was going home with it when he saw the wolf coming! The little pig jumped into the butter churn to hide. When I saw you, I got into it, and rolled down the hill!!! Narrator: The wolf was very angry indeed! Wolf: I’m going to climb down your chimney and eat you up!!! Narrator: When the little pig heard the wolf on the roof he hung up a pot full of water in the fireplace. Then he built a blazing fire! Just as the wolf was coming down the chimney, the little pig took the cover off the pot, and in fell the wolf. The little pig quickly put on the cover again, boiled up the wolf, and ate him for supper. And the little pig lived happily ever afterward. The narrators parts could be split in half
