2. Our questions
 What could be the opposite of negative media
image?
 What can possibly be positive about dementia?
 What would WE want in our lives if we had
dementia?

3. The opportunity
 What can we learn from people with
dementia?
 How can we disrupt the caregving / cared-for
relationship?
 Can we focus on living in the now, rather than
reminiscing / looking back?

4. Our response
 Tangible box which contains an activity
 Network to bring people with anxiety disorders
and dementia together
 In real life or
 Online

5. Participants
 Charities to
 promote the concept,
 distribute the soft- and hardware needed,
 educate people taking part, and
 supervise interactions where needed.
 People living with dementia
 Who are interested in doing soothing, repetative tasks
 Who are interesting in helping others
 People with anxiety disorders or People interested
in mindful living
 Who can benefit from focussing on one activity

9. The benefits
 The person with dementia can share being in
the now, encouraging others to be mindful
 Mutual beneficial interaction
 Maintaining and sharing activities
 Person with dementia in control

 Distribution through charities such as:
