1.
Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our
deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond
measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most
frightens us…

5. Don’t play with boys
You won’t be famous
Act like a lady
Don’t talk so loud
But then it starts
Why are you so tall/short?
Why are you so skinny/fat?
Why don’t you play with
dolls?
Why don’t you act like . . .
6.
Don’t snort so loud
Why do you work so hard?
Don’t swear so much
Maybe you should lower your profile a bit
Why are you so passionate?
Why do you care so much?
It continues even today as adults
7. You can’t be a “good” mother
and a full-time professional
11. What is this “light”?
Your unique gifts to the world
Your inner beauty and power
Your connection to the universe
Your potential to be all you can be
12. How many of you KNOW you are not shining your light
as brightly as you could at work?
36. Oh the night, makes you a star
And it holds you, cold in it's arms
You're the one to whom nobody verses "I love you",
Unless you say it first
So you lie there, holding your breath
And it's strange, how soon you forget
That you're like stars,
They only show up when its dark,
Cause they don't know their worth
There are times when,
The poets and porn stars align
And, you won't know who to believe in,
Well that's a good time to be leaving
And the past knocks on your door
And there's stones at your window at four in the
morning
Well maybe, he thinks its romantic
He's crazy but you knew that before
And I think you need to stop following
misery's lead
Shine away, shine away, shine away
Isn't it time you got over
How fragile you are?
We're all waiting
Waiting on your supernova
Cause that's who you are
And you've only,
Begun to shine
Yeah, you've only begun to shine
Yeah, you've only begun to shine
Shine by Anna Nalick
37. Our greatest fear is not that we are
inadequate,
but that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that
frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, handsome, talented and
fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the
world.
There is nothing enlightened about
We were born to make manifest the
glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in
everyone.
And, as we let our own light shine,
we consciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
our presence automatically
liberates others.
Let your light shine . . . Marianne Williamson
