Soconomist designs and implements skills based volunteer programmes in Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines and China, aiming to make a sustainable difference to the alleviation of poverty in developing nations through the contribution of corporate resources. After experiencing a volunteer trip myself, in December 2014, I decided to continue using my spare time to offer Soconomist my skills in marketing and business development. In my first six months I recruited a global sales team, increased the social media presence by 1000% and got Soconomist listed on some of the major global web portals for volunteer opportunities and adventure holidays.
