Fall 2012 Survey Results:
Way to go! We improved in:
The school offers suggestions about how I can help my child
learn at home.
Effective assistance is provided for children having difficulty in
school.
Where there’s still room for growth:
I know what my child’s teacher expects in school.
My child’s teachers expect very good work from my child.
My involvement in my child’s education has improved his/her
academic achievement.
4. NEW CSIP- IDEAS FOR NEW BSIP
Park Hill is developing a new CSIP for 2013-2018.
It will focus on:
Financial (transparency, integrity, efficiency)
Academic (prepare all student for college/career
success)
Climate (safe, respectful, welcoming, caring)
Employee (supportive work and learning environment)
What does this mean for us?
We will be developing a new BSIP
Reflect on what we do at Southeast, and begin to think
about where you would like to see us go.
5. FUNDS/LEAVE COUPONS
There are no leave coupons remaining this year.
PDC Update: There are no funds/day remaining.
The 25% release will be used to purchase a new
laminator for the beginning of the 2013-2014 school
year.
If your grade level has remaining days, please
schedule times to use them.
6. IDEAS FOR HONORING ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
After reviewing our Survey Results and reflecting
on our Vertical Team’s indicators, we’re wanting to
brainstorm a list of ways we can honor students’
academic achievement and convey these
expectations to our families.
Ideas:
Award lunches?
Weekly e-mails (or section of the newsletter) with
student successes?
Include families in academic awards?
Start thinking and be ready to share your great
ideas!
