COMENIUS PROJECT
 From this school year, the school has 2 subordinated
  structures: Kindergarten no. 26 and “Bucium”
  Kindergarten with a weekly program
Human resources: 272 children grouped in 9 kindergarten
  groups
                         336 pupils in 13 primary classes
                         259 pupils in 11 lower secondary
classes
 Characteristics: 5 integrated pupils with SEN, 45% of
  students belonging to vulnerable groups (low economic
  level, health problems, single parent families or with
  parents working abroad, institutionalized children)
                         54 teachers, all of them qualified
School infrastructure: 20 classrooms, 5 laboratories and
  cabinets, surgery, psycho-pedagogical assistance
  office, library, hall and sports ground, 20 computers for
  pupils use
Experience in European co-operation:
 Comenius project “Une mosaïque culturelle européenne à
    travers le partage de moments vécus” with partners from
    France and Spain (2002 – 2005);
   bilateral partnership „Let’s get together!” (2003 – 2004) &
    Comenius linguistic project „Minorities in Globalization Era”
    (2006 – 2007) with Gimnajzum no 4 from Rumia – Poland;
   Comenius linguistic project “Through drama towards our
    common linguistic roots” with a school from Spain (2004 –
    2005);
   linguistic Comenius assistant (2005);
   many Comenius, Arion, Grundtvig & Pestalozzi in-service
    trainings for teachers;
   international seminars and conferences;
   Comenius preparatory visit in Iasi (2012);
   e-Twinning projects: “Creative Maths” (2008 – 2009), „The
    Spyglass: Discovering New Horizons” (2009 – 2010), „Snail
    mail across Europe” (2011 – 2012), „Focus on Problem
    Solving” (2011 – 2012) – all of them awarded with Quality Label;
   eTwinning Seminar „Natural Sciences and eTwinning” (2010);
   Space Academy for Educators (2011)
26 students (16 girls and 10 boys), which integrates a pupil
with SEN

Passions: sports, music, hiking, volunteering

Project activities: “Participatory democracy” and
“Let's do it, Romania“ (ecological activities in the school
district)
24 students: 9 girls and 15 boys

Passions: Literature, History, Art, Maths,
foreign languages​​, sports, dance

They are excited and ready to accept new
challenges.
20 students: 9 girls and 11 boys,
which integrates a pupil with SEN

5 students were trained as volunteers
in the project "Do not be a spectator.
Volunteer!" funded by the European
Commission through the Youth in
Action program (award for the
youngest team)

Students participated in the
eTwinning project "Snail mail
across Europe", developed in
partnership with schools in Portugal,
Germany, France, Italy, Slovakia,
Spain (award: eTwinning Quality
Label)
26 children: 10 girls and 13 boys

United, active and friendly - class 5A!

Main qualities: initiative and dynamism, willing to
be creative in order to have interesting and useful
results and products

Passions: foreign languages and Geography, Art
and Computer Science
19 students: 8 girls and 11 boys
The students are keen on reading, art, sports, they like mountain
trips, educational visits and group trips.

They think that this project is a great opportunity to find out new
information about other countries and cities, to make friends and it
is also a great way to promote their work about the history and
beauty of Iasi - their hometown.
28 pupils: 12 girls and 16 boys

Hobbies for leisure time:
gymnastics, soccer, sport dance,
karate, painting
They are 29 clever children
             16 girls and 13 boys
         Mischievous, cheerful and cute
           Of Ist A grade butterflies.

Their passions: painting, computer
drawings, music, dance and Maths games.
Class motto:
    “United as little bees in the hive”

Objectives: formation of scientific
concepts about the world and
life, understanding the phenomena that
occur in the environment, critical thinking
and creative formation of a rich
imagination, team work.
27 preschoolers: 12 boys and 15 girls

Optional classes (dancing, English, Chess), projects and
partnerships, county, national and international contests
("The Little Ecologist", "The Chocolate Dwarf", "The
Fairy Land", "The Little Romanian in the World")

Passions: painting, dance, music and poetry
31 preschoolers: 17 boys and 14 girls, which integrates
2 pupils with SEN

Regional and national projects: "A step to Health",
"Small businesses", "Clownotherapy", "Little Christian",
"Cross –the small studio", "School differently"

Aesthetic, practical, literary and linguistic skills
28 children: 16 girls and 12 boys

Interests: competitions, educational activities,
projects ("Small businesses", "A step towards
health", "Autumn carnival")
27 preschoolers: 12 boys and 15 girls

Optional activities (dance, English and chess), projects
and partnerships, competitions at county, national and
international level (“The Little environmentalist", “The
Chocolate dwarf", "World stories", "Little Romanians in
the World")
