Portuguese Man o' War
The Portuguese man-of-war is a siphonophore, an animal made up of a colony of organisms
working together.

Its long tentacles can extend 165 feet

For humans, a man-of-war sting is very painful, but almost never deadly.

Man-of-wars can be found sometimes in groups of 1,000 or more.

They have no means of movement and either drift on the currents or catch the wind with their
air sacs.

To avoid threats on the surface, they can deflate their air bags and briefly sink under.

● Turtles are omnivores
● Turtles usually live over 100 years
● Six of the seven breeds of Sea Turtles are endangered
● They require air to survive
● Sea turtles live in almost every ocean basin throughout the world, nesting
    on tropical and subtropical beaches.
● They migrate long distances to feed, often swimming across entire oceans.
