In April of 2014, SCAFCO, formerly known as Spokane Culvert and Fabricating Company, celebrated its 60th anniversary. From humble beginnings in Spokane, Washington, SCAFCO was a manufacturer of corrugated steel culverts. Expanding its operations to include the production of grain storage systems and steel framing, the company eventually sold its culvert division in 1986. Today, SCAFCO Grain Systems Company and SCAFCO Steel Stud Company remain the company’s primary divisions. SCAFCO Grain Systems Company designs and distributes complete grain storage and handling systems, including aeration units, conveyors, and bucket elevators.
