escape from grammar
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY
TO LEARN GRAMMAR ?
There is no easy answer to the question , and
whichever is the way you are taught , here is
some  advice  that  may  help  you  to  learn
grammar more effectively.
WHAT YOU CAN DO

1. Be aware of grammar
               g
If  you  notice  grammar  similarities  and
differences  ,  you  will  probably  learn  the
rules more quickly.  For example ,
rules more quickly   For example
Thai  :  เด็กผูหญิงผมแดง
                ู

correct  grammar  that  will  help  you  in  your
own writing and speaking.
WHAT  YOU  CAN  DO  (  to  be
continued)
    i d)

3. Concentrate on the aspect of grammar you
personally find most difficult

For  example  ,  if  you  are  retelling  a  story  in
the  present  tense  ,  you  could  keep

reminding  that  you  need  an‐s  in  the  third
person singular.
       She loves her dogs.
       He drives very slowly
WHAT  YOU  CAN  DO  (  to  be
continued)
    i d)

4.  You  should  try  to  work  out  the  patterns
and the rules of the language for yourself
                           g g y

5.  Write  out  some  sentences  of  your  own
that  f ll   the  same  rule  that  you  are
 h   follow  h          l   h
practicing.
WHAT  YOU  CAN  DO  (  to  be
continued)

6. Learn the common irregular verbs

They are easy to learn if you say them to
yourself many times. For example,

       bleed     bled      bled
