 The use of various academic identifiers should be
made mandatory field in various applications such
as research grant, project proposal, ranking
system, honours and awards application, etc.
 Academic institutions and R&D organizations
should encourage faculty members, researchers
and students to get these academic identifiers
specially ORCID, Vidwan and make it as a
mandatory field in the research ecosystem such as
research management systems, faculty profile
management, institutional repositories, e-theses
and dissertations, etc.
