• To understand the meaning behind the
Chinese proverb.
• To be able to understand what journey you
are on and what steps you need to take.
4. Learning Outcomes
Level 3
All students will be able to recognise the link between the
proverb and school by creating 3 steps on the journey.
Level 4
Most students will be able to describe what the proverb
is about by making the connection with school. They will
also be able to describe in detail 3 steps they want to
take.
Level 5
Some students will be able to explain how they intend on
achieving their 3 steps and explain why they are
important.
5. Main Task
• Remove one shoe! Place your foot onto the
piece of paper and draw around the outside of
your foot, using a pencil.
• Copy out the saying repeating it; to create a
border around the outside.

things you want to achieve by the end of year 7.
Level 4
Describe in detail, three things you want to
achieve by the end of year 7.
Level 5
Write out three things you want to achieve by
the end of year 7, explaining how you will
achieve them and why they are important.
