for planning of despatches; analysing yearly and monthly business plans and planning the Domestic and Export
despatches
• Maintaining Export Import Shipment Status Report; Conducting various pre-shipment inspection like SGS/TUV and so
on; Examining the monthly expenses occurred for Export/Import Logistics and presenting to management
• Verifying the BRC certificate, FIRC receipt & ensuring submission & follow up to get BRC certificate from bank on time
and other related all commercial aspects.
• Managing import clearance under various schemes like Advance Authorization scheme / EPCG / 100 % EOU etc.
• Planning the import shipments as per production requirements to avoid unnecessary delays and production loss and to
control the RM inventory; finalizing freight Charges for shipments with CHA, Shipping lines, Forwarding agents and
Transporters; Tracking and following up with the clearance and timely delivery of export shipments to consignee
• Checking bill of entry and confirming that shipment is been cleared in correct classification and there after arranging for
the duty payment against the same; Negotiating Shipping Documents with the Bank.
Central Excise
• Managing the entire Excise & Service Tax related to Merchant Export, 100% EOU, DTA Units & formalities.
• Supervising the preparation and maintenance of statutory books of accounts viz, Excise documentation & monthly e-
Returns (ER-1 ER-6), Yearly e-Returns (ER-4, ER-5, and ER-7), ST-3 & subsidiaries in compliance with time and accuracy
norms; ensuring timely availment and utilization of CENVAT & Service tax credit
• Reconciling Excise and Service tax registers with financial records & reconciliation of CENVAT credit, reconciliation of
Excise books with physical stock; Subcontracting (Under Rule 4(5)(a) & 4(5) (b) & job Work Procedure for 100% EOU
• Tracking all statutory records (DSA - RG 23 A Part I & II, RG 23 C Part I & II, RG 1 Register and CT-3(material
receipt/issue register), CT-1, Daily analysis & PLA requirement
Executing Unit Audits for both internal & external (Excise & Service Tax like EA-2000, CERA etc.)
• Overseeing the Export Clearance under Bond B-1, B-17 & LUT-1 (proof of Export / Annexure – 19) & under rebate claim
(Filling of rebate claim), & Procurement Of material Under CT 3 , CT-1 & Procurement Certficate.
• Interfacing, coordinating & Liasioning with Excise Range/Division, Customs/DGFT Office.
• Ensuring all statutory permissions such as LOI, RCMC, IEC, Octroi Facility etc. are valid and up-to-date and are renewed
