4. Header/banner across the top ÂĽ of the page featuring:
• Artist/band name
• Latest album/single/tour information
• Artist/band/album logo
Internal links, usually featuring:
• Home
• Tour and ticket information
• Biography and discography
• Online merch store
Background
image is
transparent
but can still
be seen so it
doesn’t take
the attention
away from
any part of
the website
home page.
Album advertisement,
would be very similar
to a magazine
advertising the album
and feature the
album artwork.
News/blog updates in
main body of text.
Includes:
• Title in larger text
than the post
itself
• Preview of the
blog post
• Date posted
option that links
to the original
post.
External links to
other KIGH social
media accounts.
Website Analysis.
6. I thought Imagine Dragons’
website was particularly
interesting because as soon as
the page opened, it popped up
with their latest music video
rather than it being in one of
the sidebars of the website.

9. Minimalistic, monochrome colours which contrast each other are used
to appeal to a male audience. The black and white colour scheme is
only broken by the image central to the screen. All text is a capitalised
and is a bold, Arial white font.
Band logo is
incorporated with the
name so it’s easy to
associate with the
band.
Further gig
information:
• Dates
• Venues
• Support acts
• External ticket
links
Internal links are
capitalised but
appear very small
across the top of the
screen and include
links to:
• Homepage
• Merch store
• Photo and video
gallery
• Fan forum
Advertisement for an
event/gig where the
band are playing
dominates the centre of
the screen. The main
image of this is similarly
styled to AM’s latest
album but is in brighter
colours, both drawing
immediate attention to
the middle section
containing the event
details and connoting
that the event is
exciting.
