Elliott and his siblings help E.T. attempt to contact his spaceship to return home while evading government scientists. The film featured breakthrough animatronic and visual effects work to bring E.T. to life and starred Henry Thomas, Drew Barrymore, and Robert Macnaughton alongside the voice and motion capture work of Pat Welsh who played E.T.
