3. Nordic Combined
Each competitor has to do a cool jump once if it is good they
will get a big score. The competitor with the highest score gets
to start first. Then their off on a five Kilometer track. Then
they do a jump the higher and better the trick the faster they
will go.
4. THE SKELETON
The Skeleton got it’s name from the human skeleton.
The rider of the Skeleton grasps the handles they run
as fast as they can down the hill. Then dives head first
in the sled. Then their stomach. They steer by shifting
their bodies.
5. The Biathlon
The skiers have to race round a lap that is 25K the girls have
to do three laps and the boys have to race four laps.They stop
twice and shoot five targets if they miss they have to do
another lap that is 100 and 50 meters long.
6. CURLING
Two teams play against each other. The game is played on
ice. The teams take turns pushing a 19.1 Kilogram stone.
The goal is to get the stone as close as possible to the centre
of the rings.
8. Sumi
Sumi is one of the mascots. He is an
animal and also a spirt who lives in the
mountains of british columbia.
