Using figure P2.4 the DealCo diagram, identify each relationship type (1:1, 1:M, M:N) and write
all of the business rules. Note there is one relationship between two entities and this relationship
is bi-direction. This means I would expect two business rules per relationship – one for each
direction.
Solution
1. THE relationshio between region and store is 1:M as one region can be the location for many
stores but each store is located in only one region.
2. The relaitonship between store and employee is 1:M as each store employees one or more
customers and each employee is employeed to one store.
3.The relaitonship between job and employee is 1:M as a job can be assigned to many employees
