The iPads will be managed using Symantec Mobile Management Solution 7.1 (MMS), which is a component that plugs into the Altiris 7.1 infrastructure we already use to manage desktops and laptops. MMS allows us to see what programs are installed on the devices, as well as deploy new programs to the device with minimal time expended. We can also perform security functions such as remotely wiping data if we need to.
