Light is made up of different colors with unique wavelengths. When light moves from one medium to another like air to glass, it changes speed which causes it to bend or refract. For example, white light hitting a prism refracts each color at a different angle, splitting the light into a rainbow spectrum of colors.
2. What arerainbow colors Light is a mixture of different colors Each color of light has a different wavelength which makes it unique in its color
3. What is light Refraction Light changes speed when it moves from one medium to another, for example from air into the glass. There are 3 mediums which are water, air, and clear glass. When light changes its speed it bends.
4. Example – Rainbow effect When white light moves from air to a prism, each color of light refracts into a different angle which makes the light split into spectrum of colors which is the rainbow effect.
