3. Morning Arrival Please be in class by 7:40 am. After 7:45 is considered tardy and you must first report to office and obtain a tardy slip before entering class. Unpack, sharpen pencils, sign up for lunch, and begin your morning agenda. 7:40-2:50
4. Lunch 2 nd grade lunch time: 11:30-12:00 Parents may make meal payments online at: www.lunchprepay.com Free & reduced meal applications must be completed at the beginning of this school year. Parents are responsible for child’s meal costs until the application is approved. Meal Prices: Breakfast- reduced/ .30 full price/$1.10 Lunch- reduced/ .40 full price/$1.70 (K-5)

Oscar Winning Behavior System Color-coded/eagle buck/treasure behavior system: Green - excellent behavior all day (earn $1 eagle buck) Yellow - warning (owe $1 eagle buck) Blue - 2 nd warning, letter/phone call to parents (owe $2 eagle bucks) Red - Principal’s office, letter/phone call to parents (owe $5 eagle bucks) All students begin on green at the beginning of each day. A behavior sheet stays in their MOVIE binder and is colored each day to match their behavior for your review. Eagle bucks earned are paid on Fridays. The classroom store is opened the last Friday of the month for Eagle Buck purchases.

7. Homework Homework is given nightly to reinforce skills learned at school. Please expect some type of homework each night except for Wednesdays. Students are expected to read at least 20 minutes nightly and record this in their reading log. Homework is due the next school day unless noted on weekly homework sheet.
8. Volunteers Your help, support, time and love are always welcome. Please schedule a time to volunteer with Mrs. Hilda George in the front office. Parent conferences will be set-up at specific times to protect instructional time. All visitors must report to front office and obtain a vistor’s pass before entering the classrooms. Volunteer in our Classroom!
9. Snacks Students should bring a healthy snack each day for our afternoon break time. If you’d like to bring in healthy snacks for the class, please bring in individually wrapped snacks and individual juice boxes or bottled water.
