(1) Cutting Directions
1. Cut into the eye around the iris.
2. Carve the entire iris + cornea out (like carving a
pumpkin).
3. Carefully pull off cornea + iris.
4. Carefully remove iris from cornea.
5. Carefully pour out humor.
6. Carefully remove choroid and expose retina.
(2) Finding Parts
• Sclera = White part of eye
• Optic Nerve = Stub off the back of eye
• Cornea = Outer covering on center of eye
• Iris = Colored ring
• Pupil = Hole in center of iris
• Lens = Hard, cough-drop-like structure
• Choroid = Dark, metallic tissue
• Retina = Flesh colored tissue
• Humor = Clear goo
