The community that Angels of Grace serves is the
foster families, and foster children. The agency
represents this community because it works closely
with the foster parents and foster children by
providing parenting classes, support, both emotional
and financial; such as referring families to different
agencies that can offer therapy sessions, counseling,
support groups, and programs for the children.

whose needs the agency addresses
The at risk population that Angels of Grace serves is
foster children. Foster children are children who have
been removed from their biological parents due to
abuse or neglect. In order for the children to qualify to
be part of the agency they must be foster children
under the age of 18 who need a safe and loving home to
stay in without time restrictions of how long they are
allowed to stay in the home.

The mission of Angels of Grace is to create an
environment that will enhance the lives of the children
by offering a home with stability and nurturing

The main aim of the agency is to nurture and protect
the children by respecting and protecting the mind,
body, spirit, and culture of the child.

In terms of social justice, Angels of Grace focuses on
helping the children who are in the foster care system.
In terms of human rights, Angels of Grace focuses on
Article 25 which states: “Right to standard of living
adequate for health and well-being of family, including
food, clothing, housing, medical care, and necessary social
services for health and well-being of family ”

Angels of Grace also offers the Safe Haven Home. Safe
Haven is a transition home where girls, who have
emancipated from the foster care system, can
transition into a safe environment and learn to become
independent and self sufficient.

Homeless Prevention Program. This program is
income-based, and it provides short term rental
assistance, rental subside, to help prevent
homelessness.
