2. fan fiction : di cosa si tratta? “ a broadly-defined term for fan labor regarding stories about characters or settings written by fans of the original work, rather than by the original creator. Works of fan fiction are rarely commissioned or authorized by the original work's owner, creator, or publisher; also, they are almost never professionally published.” (Wikipedia 27/11/09)
3. fan fiction : di cosa si tratta? “ writing, whether official or unofficial, paid or unpaid, which makes use of an accepted canon of characters, settings and plots generated by another writer or writers” (Sheenagh Pugh)
4. fan fiction : di cosa si tratta? “ a work of literature written by a fan of a certain show, book, movie, ect. using the same characters, settings, storyline, ect. ” (That Fan Fiction Blog)
5. fan fiction : di cosa si tratta? “ fan fiction is, at it's most basic, fiction written by fans. A more broad definition might include that in order to be classified as a "fan work," at least some elements must be of an identifiable "non-original" nature; i.e., the mere influence of the vast history of oral and written tradition including recognizable themes does not, in and of itself, define a work as fan fiction. The influence must be identifiable, and for some people, attributable.” (Fan History Wiki)
6. fan fiction : di cosa si tratta? “ Fan fiction is a way of the culture repairing the damage done in a system where contemporary myths are owned by corporations instead of owned by the folk.” (Henry Jenkins)

18. “ I would love to read more about Lisbeth (I want to know what she decides to do with her moneys and more about hacker nation), but if fourth book has cliffhanger ending and needs another book for final ending then they have to be really careful with those books for them to be as close as possible to that what Larsson wanted them to be. Its easy for fourth book if most of it is already writen beginning and the end are probably hardest parts to get right, but if there is only general guide lines for fifth and fourth ends with cliffhanger then I can understand why they dont want to publish more books. In any case I want to read more books about Lisbeth, but I guess I will have to hope that at least good fanfiction writers would start to write something about Larsson's books since getting fourth book seems unlikely.” ( http:// www.stieglarsson.com/message-board-discussions?thread=11675 , 28/11/09)
