role that is growing in popularity.
• The main objective of product management is the development of a new product or products, Which is better than
what is currently available, or at least is unique, in order to be of value for the customer.
• Product management doesn’t only add to meet the objectives of the product and organization, it can also choose to
remove something from the process, which is called an elimination decision.
• Product management spans from strategic objectives to tactical activities, including:
Setting a product vision and strategy. This includes defining personas and analyzing market and competitive

do things that no one else wants to do. Much of his job involves filling in the gaps to assess where the team may be
lacking and where he can fill in.
• primary job is to handle everything that must be done to get your product shipped. That is a challenging
task, and the reason why product management can feel overwhelming.
