The US Department of Energy (DOE) recently announced that it will be distributing

Energy, Northern Power Systems, Endurance Wind Power, and Urban Green Energy

Project.
4. US Department of Energy Announces
Funds for Wind Projects
To further the DOE's Clean Energy Manufacturing Initiative, the funding will help
reduce the cost of small and midsize wind energy systems and assist US
manufacturers as they improve their manufacturing techniques and turbine designs in
an effort to minimize component costs and increase efficiency. If these efforts are
successful, the manufacturers will eventually earn certification from accredited
independent organizations.
