This document proposes three research titles that examine approaches to improving students' numeracy and mathematics proficiency. The first examines the impact of parent-teacher interactions on numeracy skills. The second assesses using instructional videos as supplementary resources to improve mathematics proficiency. The third evaluates integrating math applications like Photomath to improve proficiency. All three propose using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design on Grade 7 students to determine if the approach leads to significant differences in proficiency levels before and after the intervention.
2. Proposed Title No. 1 “FREQUENCY OF THE PARENTS-TEACHER INTERACTION AND ITS EFFECT TO THE
NUMERACY SKILLS OF THE STUDENTS”
Statement of the Problem The main purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of parent-teacher
partnership in improving the students’ numeracy skills of Grade 7 in Calatrava National
High School – Malanog Annex S.Y. 2021-2022. Specifically, it seeks to answer the
following questions:
1. What is the level of students’ numeracy skills before the Parent-Teacher
Partnership?
2. What is the level of students’ numeracy after the Parent-Teacher Partnership?
3. Is there a significant difference in the level of students’ numeracy skills before and
after the Parent-Teacher Partnership?
Null Hypothesis There is no significant difference in the level of students’ numeracy skills before and
after the Parent-Teacher Partnership.
Research Design A Pre-experimental research design, one-group pretest-posttest is to be conducted to
the Grade 7 students of Calatrava National High School-Malanog Annex.
Participants of the Study The participants of the study will be the two sections from Grade 7 students of
Calatrava National High School – Malanog Annex enrolled during School Year 2021-
2022.
Sampling Technique Purposive Sampling Technique
Instruments Teacher-made Test
3. Proposed Title No. 2 “INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS AS SUPPLEMENTARY RESOURCES TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’
MATHEMATICS PROFICIENCY”
Statement of the Problem The main purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of instructional
videos as supplementary resources to improve students’ mathematics proficiency of
Grade 7 in Calatrava National High School – Malanog Annex S.Y. 2021-2022.
Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:
1. What is the level of students’ mathematics proficiency before given instructional
videos as supplementary resources?
2. What is the level of students’ mathematics proficiency after given instructional
videos as supplementary resources?
3. Is there a significant difference in the level of students’ mathematics before and
after given instructional videos as supplementary resources?
Null Hypothesis There is no significant difference in the level of students’ mathematics proficiency
before and after given instructional videos as supplementary resources.

4. Proposed Title No. 3 “INTEGRATION OF MATH APPLICATIONS TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ MATHEMATICS
PROFICIENCY”
Statement of the Problem The main purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of integrating math
applications to improve students’ mathematics proficiency of Grade 7 in Calatrava
National High School- Malanog Annex enrolled in the School Year 2021-2022. Specifically,
it seeks to answer the following questions:
1. What is the level of students’ mathematics proficiency before the integration of
photomath?
2. What is the level of students’ mathematics proficiency after the integration of
photomath?
3. Is there a significant difference in the level of students’ mathematics proficiency
before and after the integration of photomath?
Null Hypothesis There is no significant difference in the level of students’ mathematics proficiency of
Grade 7 in Calatrava National High School-Malanog Annex before and after the
integration of photomath.
