CAREER GUIDANCE
Rtn.M.S.Raghu conducted Career Guidance program under the aegis of “R.A.C.E” for students at Sringeri
Sharadamba PU College, Chaitra College, Chaitra School and Mahajan's school. A whopping 1000 students
(combined total) participated in these programs. The young souls got inspired by Rtn.Raghu's insights and have
been motivated to aim for higher goals. A touching feedback from the huge collection of feedbacks read as -

2. 4 WAY TEST - Unique Midtown way!!!
In my two years of Rotary , I have seen Rotarians emphasizing of 4 way
testanditsimportance,but@EHACK-Rtn.Raghu&ChandrikaMamitried to
co-relate 4 WAY TEST with every aspect / every situation of our life . The
examples of advertisement of Fair & Lovely , Situation in Uttarakhand and
many other real life situation . These questions made all the participants in
Ehack to get involved and interact, as these situations were real and they would have to deal with them on
daily basis. The students were given a new angle to think about, Raghu Mama and Chandrika Mami have
really given the due respects and made people think of 4 way test in every situation . As we have joined
Rotary believing it's ideals, the 4 Way Test is “THE MANTRA” which we as Rotarians need to imbibe and
spread the same to everyone we are in touch with. Thanks Raghu mam and Chandrika mami for shaking us

Meeting on Hongirana
There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him
that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the fence. The first day the boy had
driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks as he learned to control his anger, the number
of nails hammered daily, gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper
thantodrivethosenailsintothefence.
Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the
father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said “you have done well, my son,
butlookattheholesinthefence.Thefencewillneverbethesame.Whenyousaythingsinanger,they
leave a scar just like this one.” You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many
times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. Make sure you control your temper the next time you

PRACTICAL INNOVATION
Kite Patch Hides Humans from Mosquitoes : The Kite Patch offers an
alternative to toxic sprays, and a new way to fight the spread of diseases,
byusingablendofingredientsthatmakehumansinvisibletomosquitoes.
The device, which has already far surpassed its funding goal on
Indiegogo, is a disposable square only 1.5 inches on each side and is meant to be worn
on the clothing. The patch is embedded with a proprietary blend of non-toxic, FDA
approved compounds that disrupt the mosquitoes' ability to track humans through
exhaled carbon dioxide. Each patch provides 48 hours of protection once it has been
exposed to the air. The team developed the patch with the intention of helping stop the
spread of mosquito-borne diseases in remote areas, and pledge money is being used to
