Info
Robert Maynard co-founded Lifelock in 2005. He was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2001. For his first couple of years, doctors did not understand what Robert had. They at first thought he had severe depression, so they they thought that curing his mental illness with Electro Shock Therapy was the right answer. At the time Electro Shock Therapy, or ECT, was the main cure for major depression, so doctors put Robert under for bi-lateral ECT for three months. Robert's memory never fully recovered from the surgery, and this treatment did nothing for his bipolar disorder. This slideshare account will be devoted to spreading education about the horrors of bipolar issues as well as ways to cope
