part-time paid casual work. Starting at 16 weeks.

Career Development Program (CDP)

CASUAL WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM (CWE)
Part 2: Casual Work Experience Program
Canada's internship experts

The Basics
 Divided into City and Resort Options
 Paid placements at restaurants, cafes, and resorts
 Minimum duration of 12 weeks
 No requirements
 Net fee of $550 (tax included) for Resort, and $650 (tax
included for City.

Part 2: Casual Work Experience Program
Canada's internship experts

Focus: City Placement Option
•Students work between 25 and 35 hours per week
•Paid minimum wage
•Placement based on workplace
•Restaurants, Cafes, Fast Food predominate


Focus: Resort Placement Option
•Students work an average of 30 hours per week
•Paid minimum wage
•All placements at hotels in housekeeping or food services
•Staff accommodation included at low cost
CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (CDP)
Part 2: Career Development Program
Canada's internship experts

The Basics
 Stipend paid – at rate of between $200 and $350 per week
 Paid placements in IT, O ce Admin, and Hospitality Mgmt
 Minimum duration of 24 weeks
 2 years of recent related experience, plus a degree in their eld
 Net fee of $999 (tax included)

Earn money to fund an extended stay
Prove to future employers that they can function in an English
environment
Build experience to qualify for a promotion on return home

Placement Options
Office Administration : Students work in administrative support at
service and manufacturing companies around Metro Vancouver.
Most perform secondary duties as well, including logistics,
bookkeeping, and marketing.

Information Technology : Placements in network administration,
 web applications development, software engineering, and
 mobile technology.

Hospitality Management : Two streams, one for hospitality
management students, another for culinary arts graduates.

The Basics
 Part time unpaid SIP internship in the morning (avg 30 hrs/week)
 Part time paid CWE-City placement on evenings and weekends,
(avg 16 hrs/week)
 Minimum duration of 16 weeks
 Net fee of $850 (tax included)

To earn money to subsidize their stay – otherwise unable to
a ord an unpaid internship term
Add valuable experience to their resumes
