• Lead a 12 member ‘Instant’ team, the most dynamic product on Practo. Handled Service
Deployment in preproduction and production environments. Investigated critical
production and customer issues as a part of on servicecall.
• Built a micro service architecture for centralised push notification service which sends
notifications and holds information of devices (Android, IOS) across all Practo apps
(Patient app, Doctor app).
• Reduced response time of appointment booking APIs by 50% and also shot up the
reliability of appointment booking system from 97% to 99.6%.

• Awarded Developer of the month for pulling out two big releases in short span oftime.
• Refactored (~15K LOC) and implemented the scalable search architecture using
Elasticsearch for Practo. Wrote new Rank Algorithm to provide better results and improve
search relevance.
• Being part of the User Authentication Team, I was responsible forimplementing Single Sign
on (SSO) and mobile-only-sign-in using One Time Password (OTP) for better security of user
sensitive data.

process that involves both server and client and integrated security with the principal task of

Built a Named Entity Recognizer module for the Hindi to Marathi translation pipeline for the
cricket domain. We used both gazetteer and learning based approach. Achieved83% accuracy
for the training model.
