This is a mid-term review of an educational project work at the University of Oulu, Educational Faculty, Learning enhanced technology studies project work.
2. Topic and aims
● Project aims at creating a learning platform, where we can
practise to plan and implement a course structure.
● We use simulation as a technique to carry out a course plan
and design.

3. What has been done so far?
● We have been in contact with the client face-to-face and via e-mail. There are
three stakeholders.
● We have participated in 1/3 face-to-face course lesson in Oulu where we
have taken a simulation role as a course participant and developer.
● We have discussed over various working modes.
● We started quite practically with simulation idea, because it is relevant to what
students do in this course design. It brings us closer to the course participant´s
experience and challenges.

4. What has been done so far?
We have created alternative learning platform solutions.
a) For our own purposes and communication we have had
Google tools like Hangouts and Drive.
b) For client purposes we have had Wordpress blog.
c) We have completed our toolkit with Eliademy after
consultation and reflection.

5. How the group has worked?
● We are a couple. It has been easy and simple to negotiate
and agree on the course topic and way of working.
● Our skills have been complementary. We have a good sense
of reality on the education field.
● We want to make everything instructive for us and for the
other participants. We have enhanced our learning skills
on learning platforms as a user and as an administrator.

6. Which challenges has been
confronted and how they have been
solved?
● Project phases cannot be completely predicted.
● Each stakeholder have the interests of their own.
● It is important to every stakeholder to listen to the other co-workers and find out
how strongly they can commit.
How to make things done? We have to find common understanding. Better
commitment from all creates new and maybe even unexpected outcomes.

Aiheeseen perehtyminen oli yllättävän vaikeaa alussa. Piti siis luoda projektialusta verkkokurssia varten.
Mitä, missä, milloin, kuka ja miksi? Kurssin suorittaminen oli alusta käsin liian kaukana.
“Sähköposti kuoli keskiviikkona” -ajatus pakotti löytämään muitakin yhteydenpitokeinoja ainakin parityöskentelyssä. Siitä ei ole luovuttu. Se on mukavuusalueen sisällä, mutta monet muut alustat kuten eivät avautuneet ilman kovaa työtä.
Oma oppimiskokemus blogialustan käyttökelpoisuudesta johti vähän harhaan, mutta paneuduimme oppijan asemaan niin perusteellisesti, ja blogi tuntui sellaiselta jonka hallitsemme. Sehän on opetettu yliopistossa aikaisemmissa opinnoissa.
Kaikkien ihmisten ja myös koneiden kanssa pitää tulla toimeen, jos haluaa saavuttaa jotain. Kaksinkertainen ilo kertautuu, ja vaikeat asiat puolittuvat, kun toinen sanoo jonkun ratkaisun. Hangout on pelastanut meidät.
Koko ajan on ollut haastetta sovittaa tämä projekti samanaikaisiin, jollain tavalla identtisiin, mutta lyhyempiin opiskeluun liittyviin kokonaisuuksiin. Parin kanssa voi keskustella ja se auttaa selviytymään haasteista.
