• In general ,a circuit has the following
components:-
(1.)A source of electric current such as a battery
of one or more cells.
(2.)Connecting wires which are normally
insulated copper wires.
(3.)An appliance which is using the current ,for
e.g. a bulb or an electric iron.
(4.)A key which is a switch.

torch the bulb glows and gives off
light. The bulb glows because, when
you press the torch. The switch,
electric current flows from the
battery in the torch to the bulb
through conducting metal strips in
