2. RHS Consulting Design is a multidisciplinary consulting
engineering firm that provides quality and reliability in a
wide range of engineering fields. We are a Small Business
Enterprise (SBE) certified by the Department of
Administrative Services and are on the pre-qualified list with
several Departments of Transportation.
RHS was founded in 2003, incorporated into the state of
Connecticut in 2005, and is licensed to practice professional
engineering services in the states of Connecticut, New York,
and Florida.

3. âą Mr. Rifat Saleh, PE, director of structural
engineering, has more than 27 years of
experience in structural design and construction
of buildings, bridges, railroads, marine
structures, tunnels, and other structures. He is
a licensed professional engineer in multiple
states, with both Bachelorâs and Masterâs
degrees in civil engineering. He also serves as a
structural engineering specialist with the Urban
Search and Rescue of Connecticut (USAR), TF-
1, as part of the Homeland Security Task Force.
âą In addition to overseeing RHS and
participating in several multi-million dollar
design projects, Mr. Saleh works as an adjunct
professor teaching structural engineering
courses at the University of Hartford.
