Monday 7th
: ARRIVAL
- Arrival at the airport in Riga, picking up the guests at the airport and travelling by bus
to Daugavpils (about 4 hours). Accommodation for the students (host families), hotel
for the teachers (Hotel Latgola Park, Daugavpils)
* Poland - arrival on Monday (07.04.2014) at 20:25 by bus Vilnius – Daugavpils.
Tuesday 8th
: SCHOOL
- 8:00 – 9:30 Breakfast for teachers
- 9:30 Departure from the hotel and arrival at Saskanas School
- 9:45 – 11:00 The official part: Welcome and Introduction
 Meeting with the school headmistress
 Presentation of Daugavpils Saskanas School
 A music performance by school music group
 Programme of the activities of the 5th
meeting
 Short tour around Daugavpils Saskanas School
- 11:00 - 12:00 Demonstrative lessons

- 17:30 - 18:30 Coffee break for teachers with traditional Latvian (Daugavpils) food
prepared by Latvian teachers and parents. Informal conversation.
- 18:30 – 19:30 Short walking tour: Daugavpils main street.

Wednesday 9th
: SKRIVERI & RIGA
- 06.30 – Departure from Hotel Latgola

: SAYING GOODBYE

- 10:30 – 11:30 Creating poetry (writing time for children) and oral performance
- 11:30 -13:00 Visiting Daugavpils Local History and Art Museum: Interactive lesson
“Old Games and Toys” for students
- 11:30 – 13:00 Planning next meetings and activities by coordinators and teachers
- 13:30 – 15:00 Lunch in the restaurant “Vita”
- 16:00- 17:00 Presentation of our project activities from November to April
- 17:00 – 18:30 Ceremony of Receiving Certificates and souvenirs
- 19:00 Dinner in “Sventes muiža” (“Sventes Manor”)
