The first time you caught wind, the wind is not letting go of you. You should find way to heed the wind and the water’s call to sail. Sailing is a sport that does not take "no" for an answer.
If you don't have a boat, there are those for rentals. Boat loan lenders are willing to fund your boat purchase too.

What about those who are "incapable" to sail due to disabilities?
Sailing may be a "physical sport" that "required" a fit body to control the vessel. However, even
people with disabilities are not an exception. They CAN be sailors too.
Jamie Dunross, OAM of Rockingham, Western Australia is a living proof.
If Dunross discovered what awaits him in a sailboat in the sea, he would have easily gotten his
own vessel either through cash, as he was once an established gold miner, or through a marine
loan. However, it seems that his "meet up" with the sea had to wait a little.
While working in a Kalgoorlie gold mine, an explosion occurred and he was one of the
casualties. One moment, he was working. The next moment, he woke up with a C5 injury. This
injury left him with 2 lower limbs that he could not move and arms that he could barely control.
Seeing his condition, the Rockingham native went into a state of severe depression. However,
he did not stay down. This was when he caught the wind and sailed towards a different
direction that made him defy the odds of disability. He started sailing.
Today, Dunross is an inspiration to so many sailors. In fact, a lot of those who were urged to get
serious with sailing by purchasing their sailboat through boat loans in Australia are his fans.
In his sailing career, Dunross has achieved so much.
He won a gold medal for Australia in the 2000 Paralympic Games in Sydney; he also won in the
North American Championship for Disable Persons with Graeme Martins and Noel Robins in St.
Petersburg, Florida; in the year 2005, Sailability Perth hailed him “Sailor of the Year with a
Disability.” These are only a few of the many. In 2010, Dunross became the first quadriplegic
sailor who circumnavigated Australia alone.
Indeed, "no" is not an answer when sailing calls. Are you called to sail?
